IM Mert Erdoğdu comfortably won the first-ever Troya Blitz Tournament by a margin of 1.5 points. In the 9-round Swiss with two games per round, Erdoğdu took first place with 15.5 points. Baba Annaberdiev was second with 13.5 and IM Meilis Annaberdiev third with 13.
The 12th Troya Tournament will be played in Çanakkale on 9-15 August. Before it, a blitz tournament is being held for the first time on 7-8 August.
